The Star Miner Bitaxe Gamma 602 is designed to reach approximately 1.8 TH/s under suitable power, cooling and operating conditions. Hashrate naturally fluctuates, so the short-term value shown on the display may be higher or lower than the longer-term pool average.

Sustained performance depends on chip variation, ambient temperature, firmware, power stability, pool latency and cooling efficiency. Begin with the supplied factory settings and evaluate performance over several hours rather than relying on a single hashrate reading.

The Bitaxe Gamma 602 uses a 5V DC power system. Because the 1.8T configuration operates at a higher performance level, a stable, high-quality power supply with sufficient current capacity is important.

Use the power supply supplied with the selected package or one specifically approved for this model. Do not connect a higher-voltage adapter, even if the connector appears compatible. Actual wall power can vary with frequency, voltage, fan speed and power-supply efficiency.

Yes. No separate mining computer is required for normal operation. After powering on the miner, connect a phone or computer to the temporary Wi-Fi network displayed by the device. Open the configuration page and enter your home Wi-Fi details, Bitcoin receiving address and compatible mining-pool information.

The Bitaxe Gamma 602 normally requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If your router combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one network name and the miner cannot connect, temporarily separate the bands or create a dedicated 2.4 GHz network.

Once connected, AxeOS allows you to check hashrate, temperature, power, fan speed, accepted shares and pool status through a browser.

The Bitaxe Gamma 602 consumes much less electricity and produces significantly less heat than a full-size industrial Bitcoin miner, making it more practical for a desk, home office or small home-mining setup. However, it is not completely silent because the cooling fan automatically increases speed as temperature rises.

Noise and temperature depend on room temperature, airflow, fan type and operating settings. Place the miner on a stable surface with clear space around the air intake and exhaust. Do not place it inside a closed cabinet or directly beside another heat-producing device.

For continuous operation, regularly monitor both ASIC and voltage-regulator temperatures in AxeOS. If temperatures or hardware-error rates increase, improve airflow or return to factory settings.

Yes. The Bitaxe Gamma 602 uses the SHA-256 algorithm and can connect to a compatible Bitcoin solo pool, supported payout pool or a properly configured personal mining node. Enter a valid Bitcoin receiving address that you control as the pool username unless the selected pool provides different instructions.

Solo mining is probability-based. Running at approximately 1.8 TH/s improves the probability compared with a lower-hashrate single-chip miner, but it does not guarantee that the miner will find a Bitcoin block or produce regular earnings. Network difficulty, uptime, pool latency and luck all affect the outcome.

This product is best suited to customers interested in home Bitcoin mining, open-source hardware, learning about mining and participating in Bitcoin’s decentralized network, with the possibility—but not certainty—of discovering a solo block.
