The Rev 6.1 is an updated generation of the four-chip NerdQaxe++ platform. It is designed to improve power delivery, cooling around the voltage regulators and stability at higher operating profiles.

Community versions of the Rev 6.1 may use an upgraded high-current power connector, revised protection components and additional rear-board airflow. Exact components can vary between production batches and assemblers, so buyers should confirm the connector, power supply, fan configuration and board revision shown in the current listing.

The main purchasing advantage is that the Rev 6.1 is sold as a 6 TH/s configuration rather than requiring the customer to convert or heavily modify an older 4.8T unit.

This product is configured for a target hashrate of approximately 6 TH/s with a rated power consumption of about 100W. Customers should begin with the delivered factory profile rather than immediately increasing the frequency or voltage.

Hashrate will fluctuate during normal operation. Check the pool-side average, accepted shares, hardware-error rate and temperatures over several hours to evaluate performance. A short display reading below 6 TH/s does not necessarily indicate a problem.

Additional overclocking is not required to use the advertised configuration and may increase power consumption, noise, rejected shares and hardware stress. Damage resulting from settings outside the approved specification may not be covered by the applicable warranty.

The miner is rated at approximately 100W, so the power supply must provide stable output with reasonable capacity above the miner’s sustained load. If the selected package includes a 120W power supply, it is intended for the approved operating profile rather than aggressive additional overclocking.

During the first hours of operation, check that the PSU, cable and connector are not becoming unusually hot. Repeated restarts, low input voltage, power-protection errors or a hot connector can indicate insufficient capacity, poor contact or an unstable power supply.

Do not substitute a higher-voltage adapter or bypass protection components. Buyers should confirm whether the selected package includes the PSU, regional AC cable and correct connector before placing the order.

UStarMiner lists the noise level at approximately 35 dB, but actual sound depends on fan speed, ambient temperature, operating profile and room acoustics. The miner is more suitable for home use than an industrial ASIC, although the fan may become noticeable under higher temperatures or heavy operation.

Keep clear space around the heatsink and ensure that hot exhaust air cannot return to the intake. The voltage-regulator area also requires airflow, so cooling should not be directed only at the main ASIC heatsink.

Some users install a larger, slower fan or an airflow shroud to reduce fan pitch and improve board cooling. Any replacement must match the electrical requirements and maintain cooling for both the ASIC and voltage regulators. Confirm warranty implications before changing the original fan, heatsink or thermal material.

Choose the Bitaxe Gamma 601 if you want a lower-cost, lower-power single-chip miner for learning and entry-level desktop mining. Its hashrate is substantially lower, but it requires less electricity and cooling.

Choose the NerdQaxe++ Rev 6.1 air-cooled model if you want approximately 6 TH/s in a compact design without a pump, radiator or coolant loop. Air cooling is simpler to inspect and maintain, although fan noise may be more noticeable.

Choose the 6T Hydro version if lower fan noise and liquid-cooled ASIC temperatures are priorities and you are comfortable inspecting a pump, radiator and cooling loop. Both 6T models target similar hashrate; the decision should be based on noise tolerance, maintenance preference, installation space and room temperature rather than hashrate alone.
