Required for manual firmware installation. Extract the downloaded .rar archive before use.

Check the current firmware version
Open the Starminer app or device details page to view the firmware version currently installed.
Check whether a new version is available
Firmware update notifications can be viewed directly in the Starminer app.
Upgrade official firmware through the app
Tap the upgrade option, wait while the device installs the update, and reconnect after completion.
Prepare the device before upgrading
Make sure the miner is online, the network is stable and the power supply is connected correctly.
Do not interrupt power during the update
Do not disconnect power, restart the device or turn off the network while firmware is being installed.
What to do if the update fails
Check the network, power connection and device status. If repeated attempts fail, contact official support.
Why official firmware matters
Official firmware supports stable operation, app management, remote functions, Block Query and future updates.
Is native Bitaxe firmware supported?
No. Star Miner currently supports only its proprietary official firmware.
Risks of unofficial firmware
Unofficial firmware may cause abnormal operation, unavailable features or permanent device failure, and may affect warranty and after-sales service.
