Star Miner Quick Start Guide
Learn the essential steps for using your Star Miner—from powering on the device and downloading the app to Bluetooth pairing, Wi-Fi setup, mining pool configuration and BTC wallet setup. This guide helps new users complete device initialization quickly and confidently.
Unbox the device and check the accessories
Check that the miner, power adapter, instruction card, serial number and activation information are included and undamaged.
Connect the power adapter and turn on the miner
Connect your Star Miner to the supplied power adapter and power it on. Confirm that the indicator light, display or operating status appears normal.
Download the Starminer app
Download and install the Starminer app. The app is used for device binding, Wi-Fi setup and ongoing device management.
Bind the device via Bluetooth
Enable Bluetooth on your phone, open the app, search for your Star Miner and follow the on-screen instructions to complete device binding.
Connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
Enter the Wi-Fi network name and password in the app to connect the device to your network. Use a stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection during initial setup.
Configure the mining pool and BTC wallet address
Enter the mining pool address, username or worker name, and your BTC wallet address in the app to complete the mining configuration.
Set up Public Pool
Learn the commonly used Public Pool connection address and username format, and why Public Pool is a practical option for individual solo mining.
Confirm that the device has started mining
Check the device’s online status, hashrate, temperature, power consumption and mining pool connection status.
